It’s Tanner coming to you a little bit earlier, finally on schedule, and I’m about to hop on the line with my man Joshua Spodek…

Josh Spodek from http://JoshuaSpodek.com

For an interview on leadership, and pollution, and waste…

And really what it takes to be a leader in that space…

It’s pretty cool what Josh has going on there…

Check him out at JoshuaSpodek.com

He’s got his MBA degree, he’s got his doctorate degree in astrophysics I believe…

Or a science related field…

He’s the bestselling author of Leadership Step by Step…

Which you can check out here…

He’s a really cool guy And I wanted to be my best for this interview…

So, I put on one of my favorite shirts…

Not because that means anything, but because I’m reminded of something said by Deon Sanders.

So, what does Deon Sanders have anything to do with this interview?

It kinda makes me think about people at Wal-Mart.

Or that website, people of Wal-Mart

http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/

It shows all these people dressed in sweat pants or outfits that are just unbecoming of

It makes me wonder if how we dress ourselves has an influence on…

Not just our presence toward the outer world…

But how we actually feel about ourselves…

And that’s where Deon Sanders comes into play with all this.

I wanted to be my best for this…

I want to be my best for this interview…

Despite me having to be out her with all this extraneous sound…

I’m showing up for this interview looking good…

Because Deon Sanders was asked this question…

Deon Sanders is known for showing up to his NFL Combine…

Driving up in a limo… Hopping out in a suit…

And then running the 40 yard dash… And then just leaving…

And running one of the fastest times that had ever been recorded in the process.

A reporter asked Deon Sanders at a press conference…

Why do you always do that? Why do you dress up like that… Dressed up so nice?

It was some question to that affect…

And Deon Sanders replied… Articulately, and confidently said…

When you look good… You feel good. And when you feel good… You play good… And when you play good, they pay good.

That’s what I’m talking about here…

I want to show up feeling good about myself despite all these extraneous circumstances…

But how can this apply to you?

What if you… Not started to dress to impress…

But dressed to your best?

Dress to your best so you can feel good about yourself…

Feel great about the way you look…

The image, not that your putting out to the world, but the image you’re creating for yourself.

Isn’t that powerful? How we can feel good about ourselves because we look better?

Because we intentionally decide to look better, today?

So, I hope this inspires you to put on some good-looking clothes…

Even if you’re just sitting by the pool… Or going to Wal-Mart…

Put on some clothes… Or specifically when you’re going to work…

Putting on some good clothes.

Don’t dress to impress… Dress to be your best.

Love you guys
